I am an artist and designer who is interested in the complexity of people, patterns in the universe, and the interconnectedness of all things. Through my work, I hope to encourage others to embrace connection with the natural world and communities around them, and to investigate their curiosities. I believe in design as a tool to foster mindfulness, play, and connection in our aproach to life.
I am passionate about working with mission-driven organizations, small businesses, and non-profits. I have created educational, promotional, and visual identity work for higher-education, non-profits, healthcare providers, museums, and local organizations.
Valeria is from Venezuela and grew up in North Carolina. She has a BFA in Graphic Design from Appalachian State University. In her free time, she likes backpacking, rock climbing, and inventing songs. She has recently started running. It is going okay.
